Palette
Generate color schemes fast.
A free color-palette generator: from one base color it builds a harmonized set using analogous, complementary, triadic, monochromatic or shades rules, with one-click HEX copy on every swatch. Everything is computed locally in your browser — no upload.
How to use
- Pick or enter a base color (HEX).
- Choose a harmony: analogous, complement, triadic, mono or shades.
- Review the five generated swatches.
- Click any swatch to copy its HEX value.
FAQ
- How is each harmony calculated?
- Analogous shifts the base hue by ±20°/±40°; complement uses +180°; triadic uses +120° and +240°; mono keeps the hue and varies saturation; shades keeps hue/saturation and varies lightness. Each rule yields five swatches.
- Can the palette be used for accessible design?
- It is a good starting point, but verify any text/background pairing against WCAG AA/AAA with the Contrast Checker.
- Are my colors uploaded?
- No. The palette is computed entirely on your device.
